If I'm feeling a cold coming on I take a loading dose of 1000mg, then I take 500mg every couple or 3 hours after. It usually will stop my getting a cold. But I have done lots of research on Vitamin C. You might begin with Linus Pauling. Several others (doctors/scientists) have written papers on Vita...
