The phone that checks all your "wants" boxes would be the Nexus 5X; just be sure to get the 32GB version. There's a discount of $50 going on in the Google Store for it. As good as I think Apple products are (though I don't use that many personally) the recent crop of them have shown very poor design choices. Only one USB type-C port on the new Macbook, for example.
