I've been waiting for this to come out, but I don't see where to actually sign up?
And if you do have it, does that mean that all of your account info gets put on the other person's phone, or can they log in through their own gmail account?

I'm my experience you can get away with doing so but the music pauses and then you're prompted with a warning that another device is streaming. Then you need to hit play again for the stream to continue.. Mild annoyance

Without getting reamed, what's really the difference between Apple Music Family Plan and the Google Music Family Plan.
Wife and I both have iphones and appletv and all so doubt we'd swap over but figured I'd ask. We really like Apple Music so is there a big difference or is it just 2 different ecosystems?

Anyone looking for a new family member? In all seriousness though this deal is pretty incredible, especially when you consider it adds Youtube Red too (basically ad-free Youtube with background audio and offline video capabilities).

Biggest differences are
1) Google Music plan also comes with YouTube Red (no more ads) and
2) Google Music allows for uploading of 50,000 of your own tracks to stream

Not much, GPM and apple music are the most similar, IMO. Google is the better deal, because it includes YouTube Red, but I personally prefer Apple because of the integration with iTunes (which has been my main music player for years) and it allows offline playback on PC/Mac.

What the hell is youtube red? I have google play music, but have not heard of youtube red. Am I supposed to be getting adfree youtube?

We tried to do that but the problem is that it was all fricked up as it extended to other Google Apps on our phones. And that was a PITA so she just got hers. We'll try to consolidate those two into the family plan
