Speaking of, how does LSU's engineering program overall stack up these days? When I was there (long time ago) PETE was world-class of course, and I think Chem E was considered decent, but the rest was pretty mediocre. Still the same?...

Just off the top of my head I'll guess that in any given year out of the top 50 HS baseball prospects, 45 will go to MLB and 5 to college, and it's a miracle that the colleges even get that many. Unlike colleges, MLB can make these top kids offers they can't refuse....

Weather was fine leaving, but there was some godawful weather around Atlanta and the ride started getting really nasty over mid-Alabama or so. Had one of those instances where the plane smacked downward so hard anybody unbelted would have ...
