Has anyone noticed that veteran butthurt is becoming rampant

I first noticed it with all the stolen valor stuff. The veterans/soldiers making the videos are bigger assholes than the people stealing valor.
But now with Memorial Day weekend here, I've noticed a new form of bitching from them. The veterans are freaking out on people who do not know the difference between Vets day and Memorial Day. Yes, I realize there is a difference, and that they want to properly honor their fallen brothers. But shite, you don't need to come across as an a-hole. Please just take the "happy memorial day" with a grain of salt, knowing inside that the person is atleast saying it with the right attitude.

Are you a vet? I'm not either, so I don't really think we should be able to tell them what they can /can't say in the country they have sacrificed to protect.

The very little cultural literacy by American society today about the military or really let alone anything can be frustrating to veterans.
But in a society where being a victim is the highest goal of individual accomplishment, it is no wonder veteran "buthurt" is becoming rampant.
