I grew up in Pittsburgh (the capital of hoagie country) and in my opinion, the biggest difference is the bread. Hoagies generally come on an Italian bread (Mancini's was the bakery of choice up there) whereas poboys are on the crustier, chewier French loaf such as Leidenheimer. Another big differenc...

I stopped going to the one in Henderson because the food quality was decreasing and the prices were increasing. The one in BR has the same problem: small portions of less-than-mediocre food at outlandish prices. At least at the original you can sit on the water, or go to the dance hall or to one of ...
