they usually do have a few vendors selling kayaks and related gear. I go every year just to look. Kind of a tradition with my dad. Fun to just see whats out there....

Sunset is the best time, but anytime in the day is good. Also, when do the clocks jump ahead an hour? When I went he didn't do a nighttime ride....
