Haven't been fishing in a while and I'm thinking about going Saturday.

What do reports look like for the Hopedale / Lake Borgne / rigoletes / Chef areas?

Which area is probably the best bet to catch fish?

Thanks.

No specific report, but this really is a miserable time for saltwater fishing. I'd wait until the start of April.

this time of year I usually stick to the rigolets, chef pass, and the hot water canal. not a lot of action but usually a red and black drum with a few small trout.

We have been slaughtering the trout at Alligator Point about 50 yards off the shoreline where the deep drop off occurs.
