It was reported on Wednesday that Marshall Henderson was suspended for a violation of team rules by Ole Miss, and it was speculated that it was for a failed drug test. While that has yet to be confirmed by the university of Henderson himself, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal, it may also include a traffic stop in May where police found marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle that Henderson was driving...
quote:

"Henderson was pulled over May 4 on suspicion of speeding, and Oxford Police officer Shane Fortner smelled marijuana in Henderson’s vehicle, according to the police report. Henderson gave Fortner a bag containing “a small nugget of marijuana,” according to Fortner’s report, and a search by a police dog turned up a clear plastic bag that contained “a small amount of what appeared to be cocaine,” a report from another officer, Mark Hodges, said.

Hodges’s report notes that the district attorney wouldn’t prosecute if the bag contained less than one-tenth of a gram of cocaine.

Henderson was cited for no proof of liability insurance and given a court date of May 15, Fortner’s report said. It wasn’t immediately clear how the citation was adjudicated. No other charges were filed against Henderson."

..if Jeremy Hill was an Ole Miss RB, the Oxford cops would have cited the guy Bayardo knocked out with a misdemeanor for hitting Hill's hand with this face.

I just wanna know how you can get pulled over for "suspicion" of speeding. Sounds more like a random stop and search.

had they already renamed the school to the University of Henderson or is this a new development?

I couldn't care less about weed, but he was pulled over for speeding, was found with weed and coke, and the only citation he gets is no proof of insurance. I'd love the cops in that town

Are you really that hard up to convict someone, if all they have is pinch of weed?
Reply39 months
so he was only cited for lack of insurance, no weed charges also?
