How are the syracuse cops concerning open containers and visiting fans? Is it ok to walk around with a drink as long as its in a cup or is it like gainesville where they will check to see what's in the cup then make you pour it out if its alcohol?

I've walked around with beers before, a cup is an even safer bet. You'll be good to go

Empire is actually opening at 9:30 this Saturday for the big game, and the Syracuse Shuttle bus is free, not exclusive to any bars. First bus leaves at 7:48 am from downtown Syracuse to the Dome. Check out the schedule here: LINK
