Can anyone suggest a good book for departing and returning flight? Or good sleeping pill.

I typically drink until I get sleepy. Then I wake up from my nap and I'm there.

11/22/63 by Stephen King is a great book if you haven't read it yet.

Last set of books I read was ASOIAF. I prefer fiction, adventure.

I saw the series on HULU. I wasn't impressed by it. Disappointed in James Franco performance.

Stormlight Archives (Sanderson) and Blood Song (Ryan) are the things most similar to ASOIAF, IMO.

Red Rising in an easy, fun trilogy that you could almost get through on 2 14 hour flights.

Night Angel or Shadowdance (Dalglish) are more assassin fantasy, than epic fantasy, but still damn entertaining. Actually, anything Dalglish is high fantasy (elves, orcs, magic, etc...) but extremely brutal/violent and alot of fun. That dude kills off beloved characters like Martin does.

I love Stormlight, if you haven't read it.

Take a xanax and drink a couple of beers. Hell, I do that on 3 hour flights.

Get an Audible sub. Or take a melatonin and drink a few beers until you fall asleep. Wine works better imo. If you are tall like me and stuck back in coach, option 2 is way better.

Have you read any Ken Follett books? The Pillars of the Earth series is amazing(and the books are long). Also...the century series he did is great as well.

Yeah, it's houston to Tokyo. There's a flight before and after this one. Counting waiting time, it's around 25 hrs.

Class is the one that's cheapest.

I used to have some promethazine from a prescription. Those used to knock me out.
