Other than it's the gateway city to Glacier? Nothing.

I guess that's what they call themselves but actually Columbia falls is much closer. Even closer than that is Hungry Horse and Coram. Kalispell basically is the Flathead County seat/largest town in the area has the airport and the retail chains like Costco Cabelas and Walmart, among other typical stores. Downtown is pretty cool I guess.

Whitefish is the resort/ski town

I've spent many a summer in Kalispell growing up. We would rent a cabin every few summers for several weeks outside of Kalispell. It was our homebase to explore Glacier.

Haven't been up there in over a decade. I need to go back soon.

I like to drink and enjoy seeing what certain neighborhoods/districts in cities have to offer.

It's terribly overrated. It's generally either kitschy or just douchey in a Dallas type way.

Haven't been to Boston or Philly or much of the east coast except NYC. And haven't been to Minneapolis/ St Paul or Michigan or Alaska. Been most everywhere else.

I have hit all my major spots already, really want to explore more of Europe.

Been to parts of these two, would like to see some other areas:
Pacific Northwest
More of Maine/New England

Haven't been to So Cal, that would be one

For those of you with both Seattle and Portland, OR on your list, they are less than 3 hours drive from each other, so you can knock them both off in one trip...

I value your Boston advice (I'm there every couple of months). Let me know when you're in Austin and I'll buy you a beer

I appreciate it man. Glad to be able to help out. If you ever have questions when you're up here feel free to let me know.

Coming into Austin for my bachelor party, so if imagine there will not be a shortage of beer.

But I definitely appreciate the offer. You give me a heads up whenever you're back in Boston and we can grab one here.
