This mornings TSA efficiency at its finest

Cleveland airport. 3 security areas. Middle security area is pre-check only, and usually moves well and very convenient. This morning jammed, not moving, packed so much I had to do a double take, thinking they may have moved pre-check elsewhere.
Security area's, on either side middle area, are empty. I wheel over there and there are 4 ticket screeners and scan booths open and staffed, with basically no travelers.
At ticket scan....
Me: man pre- check is jammed up
TSA: yeah that's what I hear
Me: maybe some of these folks should , waving my hand at all the standing around agents, go give them a hand
TSA: I just show up and do my job. There are at least 8 TSA that over hear this conversation and appeared as if they did could give two shits
Me: well maybe that's why your scanning my ticket and your whole department is ineffecient and a waste of tax dollars, because everybody "just shows up"
Now I understand this guy may be new , low level, but the total lack of managing our resources is shameful. Hell there was even an agent with a bomb sniffing dog in this area no one was in.
MSY, here I come

Feel better after belittling the guy who doesn't make staffing decisions?

something about flies and honey and vinegar.

I was belittling the whole staff. Total waste ... Like most government agencies. Oh wait, perhaps we should just keep our mouths shut and take all the crap they shove down our throats.
Not I.
Not I.

Terrible attitude. Idk whats worse. Actually doing it, or doing it and then talking about it as if you did something that deserves some sort of validation. If you have a problem, then you go through the proper channels to submit a complaint. No reason to yell at a guy who has no power by your own admission.
That said - TSA is the worst. But your attitude is not going to do anyone any good.

So it's his fault that the lemmings can't think for themselves and move to the empty normal lines instead of waiting in absurdly long pre check lines?
Posted on 9/9/16 at 9:53 am to CHEEEEESE
I've already got my new home airport figured out, the lemmings can keep plowing into the other Checkpoints

I like AUS, it's such an easy airport, almost as easy as Hobby. Especially since they got CLEAR

TSA is incompetent and a complete waste of resources. They have over a 95% fail rate when tested with passengers attempting to sneak banned items through checkpoints, which is pathetic given how long they take

Ya, I thought about CLEAR, but AUS hasn't been too bad with Precheck enough to make me do it. And as I noticed, every one plows into Checkpoints 2 and 3, while 1 is wide open.

Anybody else consistently get pissed at the people going through Pre Check who act like they've never been in an airport before? I'm starting to see this more and more.
Make Pre Check Great Again

For the most part I believe they have stopped randomly putting people in PreCheck. I'm precheck now, but I used to dress/pack differently when I didn't, and it just causes pandemonium when you randomly switch people inbetween them.
However, now they are really pushing Precheck supposedly, so you may see a lot of first timers. I suppose if Precheck eventually gets to where I have to wait 30 minutes again I'm signing up for CLEAR.

The last time I flew, SWA neglected to note my PreCheck status on my Boarding Pass.
I almost complained to them and then I thought, White People Problems and laughed it off.
I only had to take off my shoes, no big deal.
ETA: MSY of course.

You didn't say that you fricking pussy, they made you take off all your clothes and felt you up and while venting you thought I would sound really cool if I had done this, yeah let's post it online

Did you at least thank your agent for doing his job

People making $10/ hr are not going to have the education or skills to do that job. We need to pay way more which will draw a more skilled level of job applicant. But then you'll bitch about government mandates causing your ticket to be so expensive.
