Suggestions on booking round trip flight to DCA from North LA, DFW, other

I'm trying to attend a Marine OCS graduation in Quantico on July 2nd, but flight prices seem to be very high. Even tried delta skymiles but they want 45,000 minimum. Flying roundtrip from north LA, DFW or other nearby....any suggestions or promo codes with any airlines?

When is your flight? Delta will open up cheaper award seats closer to the date if it has unsold seats. But idk if you want to bank on that. Did come to my rescue a week ago.

Ideally departing 7/1 and returning 7/3, but will depart on 6/30 if that changes price significantly.

Could you do a redeye on the night of July 1 or would you like to get up there earlier in the day?
It's $295 if you leave DFW at 6am, 7am, or 11:45pm (redeye) on the 30th- July 3rd
$312 for a redeye on the 1st- July 3rd anytime
Edit: $295 on Virgin America from Love Field- DCA June 30th- July 3rd as well
$222 on Spirit to Baltimore from DFW June 30-July 3rd

Alright it's about $350 on American for early on July 1st- late on July 3rd. Depart 6am, 7am, 9:10am on Friday and return at 8:30am, 6:30pm or 8:05pm Sunday

Alright southwest is by far your best option out of Love field. Nonstop flights as well, totaling $323
Friday morning July 1st 6:25am departure, arrive DCA 10:10am for $175
Sunday night July 3rd 7:20pm departure, arrive DAL 9:25pm for $148
Not sure how close/far you are to Dallas but may be worth it for this since it's nonstop as well

Drive to Jackson, they have a direct flight that leaves every morning at 6am and is usually around $300.
