Running of the Bulls tomorrow in Pamplona, Spain

I have a friend currently visiting Spain who would like some information on Running of the Bulls. He knew I posted on TD and asked that I post this.
"Just arrived in Pamplona. Trying to attend Running of the Bulls tomorrow. Where is the best place to get in on the run? Where can I watch people run? Where do I buy the clothes after? Where do we party after?"
Any info is much appreciated

Tell him to ask someone in Pamplona.

If you want to run, you must start in the very beginning of the race, before "Dead Man's Corner." If you try to start after, you will get kicked out before the race starts.
If you want to just watch, talk to locals about getting a balcony spot, if not watch inside or around the arena.
Plenty of spots around town to buy gear. Party in the town square and the surrounding streets.

Do you know how the pricing is? I'm in Lyon and considering picking up some white gear and a red headband if I can before I leave for Pamplona tomorrow. Europe's expensive

I did it two years ago and don't remember it being terribly expensive, but I just bought the sash and a couple t shirts.
I didn't understand why all the pants had front pockets with zippers, until more than half of our group got pick pocketed on the first day. Keep track of your stuff because they are professionals.
