We have been to Vegas several times but never able to get reservations at the Golden Steer. Has anyone every been and if so, is it worth the hassle to get reservations?

We ended up walking up around 445 for a few places that had no reservations. Maybe try calling day of you want to go?

Only downside is we had to eat around 5-530

Great ambience, good food.

Less quality than you’ll get at CUT, SW, Bazaar, etc but the vibe is cool. We sat in Dean Martin’s booth.

Been a bunch of times. My favorite place in LV. Well worth it. Use Open Table to get a reservation.

One of the best in the country. Get the table side Caesar.

that place is way too expensive but if you want the experience go for it

you can find steaks everywhere in vegas these days at a cheaper price

Absolutely worth it, but you’re not going for the best food in the world, you’re going for the old school ambiance. And, they do BYOB. Steaks were okay, caesar and dessert were better.

you don't go to vegas to worry about the price of steak (unless you are pulling slots i suppose)

It's all about the vibe of old Vegas ... We got a table at 9pm day off after LSU lost to Fla St (the first time) ... sure there are better meals, but we enjoyed it more than Bazaar for half the cost and twice the atmosphere.

Pretty much the consensus. I’ve never been, but we have reservations Saturday night (made 2-3 months ago)

Golden Steer is absolutely worth it. Old school service and high quality. Get reservations, request a booth, get the table side caesar salad, and then get the meal of your choice. I will be there in January and already have my reservation.

Tried unsuccessfully to get a reservation online, but no dice. Called the restaurant and they hooked me up with no issue.
