Just finished booking everything for 8 days in Jackson Hole end of February to beginning of March. Two of those days are travel days so we will have 6 full days of activities. Plan on skiing for 4 days and exploring the other 2. Has anyone been to Jackson Hole/Yellowstone this time of year that can offer some suggestions on stuff to do other than ski?

Where are you staying? Was just in Jackson Hole the first week of March, remember sitting in our airbnb watching the rest of the country's covid cases spike while Wyoming only had like 1!

We are staying in Teton Village. Was thinking about using at least one of the two non-ski days to go walk around/shop in downtown Jackson Hole. Just not sure what else to do.

I actually just got back from Jackson Hole on Sunday. Spent 6 days there.

Here’s some things we did:

Jackson Hole area:

- We hiked Jenny Lake/Inspiration point
- Drove up Signal Mountain (awesome views)
- Hiked around Phelps Lake
- Mormon Row is right past the airport. Great views as well.
- Drove to Lowe Slide Lake
- Walked around Schwabacher Landing (perfect view of Grand Teton)
- We stopped at a few more places along the Snake River

We went to Yellowstone for one day.

- On our way, we stopped for a while at Jackson Lake
- We stopped at West Thumb
- Continental Divide
- Old Faithful
- Grand Prismatic (there’s a .8 mile hike that you can take to get an aerial view of the grand prismatic that I highly suggest doing)

We loved every minute of that trip!

Definitely plan to take the sleigh ride out to the elk in Jackson, can easily incorporate that into your downtown jackson day.

I’m assuming you guys are black level skiers? There’s not much ground for those that are not, not that you can’t have a blast either way.

Snowmobile trips are very popular.

Honestly if you ski 4 days, I’d probably not plan much the other 2 but hang out around Teton village one day and downtown jackson the other.

National wildlife art museum is worth it IMO.

I was looking into that, seems like something I definitely want to do.

Yeah all pretty decent. It'll be me and a buddy and our SO's. All 26 years old and strong skiers/snowboarders so I think it should be a lot of fun.

Kind of what I was thinking. We are getting there relatively early the first day so might use that day to hang around Teton village and then would have 2 full days to do stuff other than skiing. National wildlife art museum sounds intriguing.

Thanks for the input

Bumping this thread as I'll be there this coming thursday-sunday for a bachelor party. Skiing fri-sun, but will need dinner/bar recommendations. We're all 25-35 so probably not looking for anyplace too fancy

Roadhouse Pub & Eatery on the square downtown. Good food, good beer. Perfect spot for a bachelor party type group. It's usually hoppin' so calling ahead/reservations would be a good idea.

Where are you staying? Teton Village? Or in Jackson? I'd just walk everywhere personally, like just go to the Mangy Moose and around Teton Village to eat and drink if staying there. If in Jackson, plenty of places to walk around to there.

Went in there this summer, because Snake River brewing was closed for the day. Pretty good beers and food.

Agreed. Not that the food was great or anything, but nice to just walk a few minutes from condo for beers/food after hiking all day.

Condo inbetween Teton village and town, but we've got 2 cars to drive around so not bad to go either way.

Thanks bama for the roadhouse suggestion, looks like it would be great for our group

Snake River Brewing. One of my favorites in JH. Snake River Brewing

Never mind. Just saw it’s closed for renovations. Not reopening until spring.
