I'll be doing this in October to catch an international flight out of DFW. We have about 3 hours in between. Is this long enough or cutting it close?

3 hours should be ok. It's about a 20 minute uber ride from Love to DFW depending on traffic. If its after about 4pm before you get in the uber, traffic can be iffy. There is a train between Love and DFW but you have to take a shuttle from Love to just outside the gates where the train stop is. With only 3 hours I would uber.

It'll be around 8am on a Friday.

Is the train slow?

Taxi or Uber. You'll have time.

Uber seems to be the consensus.

Thanks everyone for the replies!

It ain't the fastest. And it drops you at the north most terminal at DFW which is terminal A. So you have to add time to get to another terminal if needed. Considering TSA Lines may be busy at 9-10am I would not risk the train.

I actually had to do this in May.

I've never had a problem with Uber until this asshat accepted my ride. When I saw the vehicle, I thought, my lucky day.

Nope. Guy shows up and says, "I don't really do UberX, so the ride not really worth my time, you can rerequest as Uber Black" This was after I had waited 20 minutes in that tough traffic for him to arrive. I wanted to tell him to go frick himself. He then wanted me to cancel the ride so I'd have to deal with the $5 charge and refund process, and I just ignored him so he'd have to do it.

ANYWHO, all this is to say a cab will run like $60 between those two.

Another vote for a traditional Cab or Super Shuttle.

They also have a black car service-
