Henderson Beach State Park and 30A scenic highway are in my plan so far.

What are some things to do in Destin? Any good restaurant recommendations? I'll be in Miramar beach area in 4/22~4/25.

There's always the fun of 30A and Destin:

You'll actually beat the most horrible times of Summer by going soon.

I don't go there any more because of the traffic so sorry.

Baytowne Wharf is always fun. Several restaurants and bars all in one are. Live Music at a few places. You can do nicer dining at Marlin Grill, or you can go to the end at the pier and do fried seafood.

And Cuvee, as well as others, have already been mentioned. It is always good.

the restaurant at Henderson Beach Inn was pretty good and overlooks the state park, so its mostly empty beach. Instead of looking over some of the trashiness you see along the beach.

Good list. I would also add Craft Bar and Boshamp's especially for lunch. Couvee's happy hour is one of the best in the area.

It's the name of a highway that shoots off of 98 and runs alongside the ocean through a bunch of scenic resort towns. The entire area that the highway runs through independent of 98 has been termed "30A." It consists of towns like Seagrove, Seaside, Grayton Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, etc.. It has a definite "feel" (whether good or bad is up for debate) that's distinct from the rest of Florida. Sort of a manufactured idyllic southern beach town vibe that's spoiled a bit by the extreme overcrowding and insane prices. I still think it beats the shite out of Destin.

Nice explanation. I'm planning a trip next month. I saw some recommendations for restaurants at night from above. They are nice ones. Any tips on quick cheap bites for lunch time?
