6 day vacation/anniversary - what are options

My wife and I have 6 days off in July (around the 4th) which is just after our one year anniversary, and wanted to take a vacation. We ve had a rough year (she got sick, doing better now). Live in the south, but most flights end up connecting. We tossed around idea of carribean, Napa, NYC. We honeymooned in St Lucia and considered going back.
Wanted to get recs or any other ideas? Is Pacific NW an option? We both work a lot so like to relax on vaca. Budget up to 7-9K, preferably less.
