It's not like I keep unclear secrets on iCloud or in iTunes.

It is a pain since you have to have one of your "approved"devices in hand to sign in.

I cut it off.

I have never had any security issues on my apple account.

Does anyone use it after that last update?

If you enable it, Apple requires it to log onto their support forums. This is so fricking stupid, but on the plus side, it discourages me from frequenting their poorly designed forums which rarely have any useful information anyway.

I turn on 2-factor authentication on ANYTHING that supports it.

For one, I use a password manager and don't know any off my passwords in my brain, so I need my MacBook Pro or iOS device to log on anywhere anyway.

And like mentioned above, if someone gets your AppleID they can log in to your iCloud account and remotely wipe your iPhone or iPad. That would surely be inconveniencing to anyone.

Did the last update change anything re: 2-factor authentication?

Also worth noting that for some retarded reason Apple has 2-step authentication AND 2-factor authentication. They are different and you can only have either/or turned on at one time. 2-factor authentication is the more secure one.
