Think any of these UIs will be as bad as Vue on Roku?

I'm going to have to use sling until they make it better.

Once you pause a live show, you are able to FF to skip commercials, etc. But, some channels will only let you pause their live show for 5 minutes or so (it may be all channels, I'm not sure). There may be a work around by just going to your "liked" shows (DVR) and start watching the recording from there.

You can definitely elect to start over from the beginning at the bottom. So you either go back to the start of the show or you have only that little bit it let you go back from live. The ones I have started over (say I'm now 20 minutes behind live) did let me fast forward as much as I wanted normally. I have read that some shows or channels only allow you to fast forward straight back to live but it hasn't happened to me yet.

You can now watch PS Vue on your PC/Mac using a browser. The guide is a bit different than the on you see on the PS Vue app, but it works.

The PC version of PS Vue seems to lag and buffer quite a bit. Tried at both 2.4 and 5 Ghz. Tried on Chrome. Not very good.

Just go to watch.psvue.com and log in if needed. On the right-hand side you'll see "Watch PlayStation Vue" just click it and you're good to go.

THIS IS AWESOME!

Now i'm back to using just my Sony TV and not needing anything else. Ethernet plugged into the TV. Vue, Plex, WatchESPN, Netflix, Kodi, Antenna for locals, everything I need on one interface and one remote.

The interface for Vue on Android TV is just like on the Firetv.

Does anybody know if the Vue UI on Roku is still awful? I don't even want to burn my free trial if it is that bad.

So glad this came to the nexus player/android tv finally. The bug on the amazon firetv when the audio got out of sync made it nearly unwatchable and never got fixed all the way.

Personally I'll miss Comedy Central for South Park. But pending what dtv offers it won't change my position.

MTV had my one guilty pleasure the challenge.

I'll miss those two shows but I'll survive just fine.

Yeah it's definitely not a deal breaker. I'll forget what I used to watch on those channels. Maybe pirate some Drunk history episodes from somewhere.

The no nick jr is almost a deal breaker for me. Love getting NBATV, but kind of need Blaze, Paw Patrol and Ninja Turtles.
I guess i'll just have to purchase seasons on Vudu or Prime.

If I remember right, you and I had similar issues getting the wife on board. Bravo and that type of trash?

We mainly use a Roku, and the Vue app is trash on it, so we are using slingtv. But honestly, other than for football and the occasional live event, we rarely use it. We watch everything on Plex. I think my wife is actually happier now because she can watch her shite from anywhere, and without commercials.
