I'm im the process of completing my outdoor kitchen. I mounted 4 Polk outdoor speakers and ran the wires behind the TV. I now need a amplifier to hook the speakers to. My issue is I do not want a huge amp that needs a shelf, I'd like something small that can mount behind or lay on top of the tv. Cheaper is better as well, since this will be sitting outside. Any suggestions?

Humidity is not good for electronics.

Why don't you buy a new one for inside and move your inside one outside?

JL makes some good marine grade amps. I am having one installed in my boat right now.

Google marine grade amplifiers. There should be tons of choices at different price points.

You have wifi out there? I would get a wifi amp that has a local source input on it. Bose SA5 or a Def Tech WAMP. You can feed the TV audio into it and also stream music. Small compact footprint with no buttons that need to be pushed or turned.

I'd keep the receiver/amp inside and run the speaker wire out there. The humidity will not be good.

It gets Full humidity and temp changes

Still goin strong.

Speakers are the little outdoor Bose's.
