I think I will just flip them on ebay, and maybe keep 1.

Speaking of clearance deals at HD, I spotted an intriguing one today:

There are 4 HDs in my surrounding area and only two had this product on clearance. One HD had it out in the open on a shelf. You might want to keep an eye out for the Ring Outdoor Security Kit and see if you can catch this when it dips again (or if it hasn't gone on clearance, start prepping). Barcode is 852239005383 if you want to price check. As far as I can tell, the majority of the local HDs either do not have the kit in stock, or they keep it stashed behind customer service.

One other heads up, one of the Walmart's near me shows Wink Hub 2 listed at $49.00. The app didn't say there were any in stock, but I called the store and they said they had a couple. Unfortunately, their register rang up the Wink Hub 2 at $74. I am going to go in store and see if I can purchase one for $49.

The workaround would be to purchase the device through the app, but because it is not showing any on-hand in store, I cannot go this route.

I did, moved 28 of them in a few days but only because I had great prices. Sold 17 to one guy on ebay. You could sell for ~$20 with patience.

I got all those remotes at 1 store (airline). Saw them at Highland a few weeks back. No clue if they have anymore.


Eta: I know of at least 3 others that snatch things, so I'm not always to blame

Some area walmarts do have the Ring doorbell for $100. Haven't seen much else noteworthy.

Damn, I wish I responded to your post yesterday before I went on my big HD run. I did locate 9 of remotes at two local HDs, but I recall seeing more at the rest yesterday. My wife is going to think I've lost my mind

You can buy the Hampton Bay fan controller/remote as replacement parts. Can't actually buy them in store as a new product. Somewhere on reddit is the part number and process to purchase.

Well...several have burnt theirs up because the instructions say to place the antenna sticking out the canopy. The canopy then nicks the wire and shorts out...other than that, I think people are having better success staying paired.

I just hauled in 2 LIFX Color 1000 and 4 LIFX White 800 bulbs for the half-off price. The prices do vary from store-to-store. Brickseek, walmart app, or the website should be referenced before shopping.
