If you feel like penny hunting, be on the look out for any motorola two way radios, wink hubs, husky pass through sockets/wrench, fluke ts19 tester, led puck lights

That's the 3rd gen. The clearance box has a apple homekit logo on the bottom left. 3rd gen has a light logo top right.

How's your Home Depot trek going? I did notice that Monday's seem to be the day when clearance items are updated in the system. Workers were printing new labels and pulling items last week when I scored my winks

Not highland or gonzales. Didn't check behind counter at Coursey. Computers show no stock at stores, but it doesn't hurt to look.

Hey MC, do you mind providing some barcodes or sku numbers on the 2nd gen items that you got?

I have this for the philips hue color ambiance starter kit:
BARCODE: 046677 456191
SKU: 456194

Follow up question, are you able to see stock for clearance items online?

Everything else I found is 1st gen. Clearanced items don't show on website. The only thing you can tell is if it says the store doesn't carry it, it may be on clearance. In stock = no clearance

Eta: the hue lux or single bulb may be 2nd gen. Didn't find any around here. Lightstrip is gen 2, hopefully dropping to 03 pricing soon.

Nice thank you. I still don't know how you stumbled into the jackpot of hue clearance deals. I had to stash my color starter kit in a deep freeze to get it for $50.03. It had spider wire security on it, so I made off with it at that price.

When I get a little more time on my hands, I am really going to to start digging into the foundation of my home network. Since about early/mid-January my home wifi network has been suffering in regards to performance. In that time frame, I have added a number of new devices (wifi plugs, hue bridge, wink hub) to the network. I am curious to learn about yalls networking setups.

Nothing special here. Shows I have 34 devices on an Asus rtac56 router. Don't do a lot of streaming though.

Eta: the store that I got the 5 from is an area that got hit hard by the floods, so no one there is really shopping for anything other than rebuilding. That probably played a part.

Dear diary,

OK so late start and only hit TN stores. 3 showed inventory. All 3 were a bust. i think employees are hiding them.

I did get a $18 colored hue bulb and 2 wink hubs rang up as a penny but I got there at closing time so the manager got involved and rang them up for$18 instead.

Also found a GE link light they couldn't find in the system at all and tried turning charge me $15 but I said no thanks.

Eta bbap
