Will my USB cord I used for my Galaxy fit the Nexus?

Any Apps specially designed for the phone?

Nexus uses USB type C, not sure on the galaxy but I think it uses micro USB, so no it won't fit.

Get a couple micro usb to usb c adapters and you can keep using older cords.

Keep us updated on how you like it. I am thinking about switching, got a year left on my lease agreement. Right now I am averaging 6 gig of data a month. That makes Project Fi slightly more expensive that what I am paying if you factor in the price of the Nexus 6p. If I can get it down to 4 gig I will definitely switch.

There is something to say for not being in a contract/lease agreement.

dang how do you use so much? I only use like 1.8 or so a month but im always at home or work and have wifi in both spots. Thats why I wanna switch to FI next month when my next plan is over. I imagine the new nexus will be available for it too

LINK

I bought a couple of these like the poster mentioned above. They work great while keeping the provided charger handy for quick charges if needed.

I like Fi a lot as I only use around 1-2 gigs / month due to being home or at work with wifi the majority of the time. Just set your podcasts, apps, etc. to update on wifi only and you'll be good to go.

I was on the fence, however, my phone apparently got water in it while helping flood victims. Called AT&T and they won't move my upgrade up 3 months, they offered me a 30 dollar credit and said I can use my insurance claim.

I've been with AT&T since they bought out SunCom some 15 years ago. This was my final straw

I am on an unlimited plan so i never think about it. Also I'm always at clients so i never get wifi during the working day on my phone. I use my phone a decent amount for work too. I am going to trying to see how low i can go next month.

My wife has it. Hope yours works better than hers. It sucks. She misses calls all the time. Has a lot of trouble making calls. Call quality sucks. We've been dealing with their support for 3 months now and it's no better.

It's weird, because everyone else loves it and says it works great.

We are in a normal coverage area. It also does the same thing when she's around lafayette and other bigger areas.

I'm waiting for the new Nexus phones in October to switch. Let me know how it goes.

Were you able to keep your number?

Switched to FI a few months ago and it works just as well as AT&T IMHO, some spots better or worse but no big deal. Just important to make sure if there is service where you live (if rural) as the blind spots are just different. If there is Sprint, T-Mobile, or US Cellular service it works great. The wifi calling can help those without cell coverage as well.

I work overseas though and the international data is great at the price point. No more need for multiple phones and sim cards.

I am overall very happy with it, works great at home or wherever I travel.

No, I will be getting a new number. They gave me the option but because I'm not cancelling AT&T I couldn't keep it.

* my at&t contract is 3 more months at 60 a month, the payoff the cancel service is 220

Keeping my number would be worth $40 to me, but to each his own.

Meh just a number, I've had several over the years although it will take time getting used to it.

Have att change your number then have Fi claim the number. Everyone wins. I've had my problems with Fi but overall it's been a positive experience and I plan to keep their service.

How long do these take to come in? I ordered Thirsday, on Friday I received the e-mail for my shipping information. Checked this afternoon and it still says label created.

They're a bitch to find if you dont go to Best Buy. I was in a pinch and needed one real bad, so Amazon was out of the question. Drove around town all day then finally decided to give best buy my money.

wait the 3 months and then just get google to port the number over once you arent on contract.
