Finally!

Phone doesn't feel too large at all upon opening it and adding the case. I haven't turned it on nor set it up yet though to feel how smoothly texting goes. FWIW, I purchased online through VW on 9/26 with an estimated delivery of 11/7. It's the 64GB Space Gray model.

And for now, I've just got a cheap, Chinese made bamboo case on it. Looking to get a Grovemade and/or OB case shortly.

Why a case? Use it as is.

Gotta get used to a larger phone before I trust myself not to drop I it. I normally don't keep a case on my phones though.

The joy of the device is holding it though. My wife's 6 is slippery as piss, but it feels really good to hold. The edge of the screen is amazing. Covering that up is just unthinkable. I wish apple would put out rounded edge screens for every device. I'd change the ipad's out for sure.

Is this real life? I thought you'd have a spermgasm over the wood grain.

I was thinking the same thing. He has always posted pics and been so proud of his cases for his iphone which were usually ugly as hell. No offense, Gaston

I installed wood INTO my phone. I haven't had a case, or allowed one in my house, since the 3GS. Then it was Exovault case that was more expensive than the phone.

I'm gonna take it out of the case and bend it while you're sleeping.

I can't teach you since it just came natural. I think if you bend the second and last prong of a fork down and stick the remaining ones into an electrical socket it may fix things.

I took my phone completely apart and installed wood panels where glass once was.

Then I swam with it in my pocket.

That just looks like vinyl wrap. Not saying it is, but I don't understand the extra effort.

Did the wood make it float?

My company wouldn't approve a 6+

Only could get 6 with 64gb.

I played with my wife's 6+ a little yesterday. I don't understand why the folder icons are so small on such a big screen. I had to look pretty close just to see what I was opening.

Posting from my 6+

This screen is beautiful. And to appease Gaston, I'm using it caseless and it really does feel amazing. I can't believe how thin they got this phone.

I'm also typing with one hand without any issues. And as I said in another thread, I don't have overly large hands.

Good to hear, Buckeye. Glad you enjoy the phone.

I hope my wait is worth it. Still nothing on shipping information.

How does one go about turning on the swipe keyboard feature? Not sure what it's called, but I was really beginning to enjoy it on my windows phone.

Eta: I've got Swiftkey installed and allowed full access, but I'm still using the stock keyboard. Am I missing something?

Eta2:
Nevermind I figured it out
