Yep, I'm an android user but just gave a chromecast to my nephew for Christmas and he has iphone and ipad mini and it works well.

I will say that the experience is better on my Nexus than it is on my wife's iPhone, but they both accomplish the same goal.

It's only 35 bucks. If you don't like it it's not like you invested a lot in it. I like using it when I take my tv outside to watch football. It's definitely not my primary steaming device but it is a nice secondary/on the go machine.
