Iphone 6- preorder vs store

Ordered iPhone 6 10 days ago and all I've heard is it's being processed
If I go to an AT&T store and they have them can I just cancel the preorder and get one right then?

If you preordered through someone other than AT&T, and used your upgrade to get the lower price, you will have to cancel first, then wait for your upgrade to show up before you can buy one in store using the upgrade. Once you cancel, it can take up to 48 hours for the upgrade to show back up.

My ship date was moved from Oct 13-22 to Oct 2-13 and this morning I got a notice that it shipped today. Woohoo!

Ordered mine from sprint last Tuesday. Got it Friday like promised. I got a 64 gig one though the 16 gig were delayed a few weeks.

From what I've seen AT&T and Apple have been out of stock, but surprisingly Target had the 6's (not 6+) in stock.

Preordered mine Friday Sept 19.
Got an email that delivery date would be between Oct 13-31.
Got a phone call today from the AT&T store that my phone came in today.
Backed up my old phone, picked up the new one, restored from my computer. Good to go

we ordered a 128gb 6 at about 9:00 a.m. CST on the 12th. We were initially told it would be delivered in mid october. We were notified today that it shipped today and we'll recieve it tomorrow.
