I don't like the lack of expandable storage or easily replaceable battery.

agree. I have had the S3 and now the S5 active and I really enjoy having the spare battery and the micro sd card.
Getting rid of each seems like a step back.
Well I guess if Apple can get $100 for 16gb (instead of a $20 32gb card) Samsung can copy that too.

No micro sd slot is almost a deal breaker for me, but I will get it anyways.

I would never go back to the Active series. It's just not owned enough that people want to mod it.

I love the removable back of my Note 4. I wanted some waterproofing for the Note 4 but I think the S pen gives it problems with that.
