Is the option Sling TV? If you have Sling, do you have buffering issues? TIA.

I pay $35/month for Playstation Vue to get access to every sports channel I'd ever want.

I watch football all day with the ESPN App.

The ESPN Primetime game does have buffering/quality issues for most games. Haven't had a single issue on any other channels or on the ESPN game at any other time. Issue seems to be on ESPN's side not being able to meet demand.

I get sling with all the ESPN channels and sec , sec+ for $25. There have been no buffering issues this year like in years past. I did get the free trial of Vue to watch dodgers on FS1 and that thing crashes at leat twice a game. I am now done with the trial and paid for a month since dodgers made NLCS and it crashed again last night.

Up north ps vue has fox sports Ohio and big ten network which is all of your Blue Jacket, Indians, Cavaliers, and Big Ten games. Sling has none of it so it's a no brainer up here.

Think Big10 network is nation wide on Vue. I have it down here in Louisiana.
ETA: Highly recommend Vue, and on the FireTv.

I was on SlingTV since the beta stage, but I switched to PlayStation Vue this weekend. SlingTV does a few things better than PSVue (like better access outside the home on mobile), but overall PSVue was $10 more and got me way more sports channels (like NFL Network and Fox Sports), and PSVue supports multiple streams simultaneously whereas SlingTV only supports a single stream. I like to watch several CFB games at once on my multi-monitor desktop.

I have never had this issue with Vue

Can someone explain to me how you handle the issue of not being able to extend recoding time for games with Vue? Games go over the allotted time frequently.

Those of you with Vue, do you get live Local channels? I was looking for CBS live on Saturday and couldn't find one with Vue. They had On Demand though.

Not here in Portland. I use the antenna to get local channels.

The only channel I miss is the Weather Channel. I get SEC Network up here in Portland and CSN NW up here, which is the network that carries all the Blazers games. Four different ESPN channels, NFL Network, Golf Channel, and several other sports networks are included in the $34.99 package.

This saves me about 60 bucks over cable - the base cable package is the same price as my internet + Playstation Vue. But after I paid Xfinity for the HD package, HD DVR, two extra HD boxes, sports package add-on, and assorted fees, I was paying a lot more than the quote for the "Double Play" that I ordered.

So being in New Orleans you can't watch games on cbs/nbc/abc live? Thinking about going ps vie as well, and it states you can view these games live. Is what they say a little misleading?
