So am I the only one that had issues with this thermostat? Got one from Home Depot and turned it on and then it started to boot up and then restarted after it made a click noise. Did that for 10 minutes over and over.

Thanks, I had $150 in gift cards from Amazon... I had been thinking about buying the Nest but just couldn't bring myself to it, Ecobee made the decision for me for going on sale first.

Looking to purchase smart thermostats soon. My 2007 units do not have a C wire run to the thermostats. Anyone have reviews on the PEK unit? Trying to to decide if I need to run a 5 wire connection instead.

well for one... it's rated the highest by pretty much all websites out there. cnet even wrote an article about feeling bad, because they were taking their nest off their dream home's wall, and putting the ecobee up

I've had mine installed for more than 6 months with no issues what so ever... Awesome integration with IFTTT too.
