Directv freezing every time a certain Lexus commercial comes on

Anybody else experiencing this? The last few days whenever this Lexus commercial comes on the station will freeze at the end of the commercial when the Lexus logo and hashtag pops up. I have to change the channel then go back to the channel I was watching.

It's happen to me with an Intel commercial.. I thought I was crazy but it happen three time in one night and continued the last few days.

My shite has been fine, but I basically watch recorded stuff exclusively. Haven't had any problems with the live stuff though. Maybe it has something to do with resolution changes or something

It happened to me too. I just change the channel and then go back and it is fixed.

Same here on the Lexus commercial. Happened all weekend. Also on another but can't remember. Just switched channel and all was good. Weird.

It's a hacker group named fsociety that is trying to port their hacker terrorist video feed through the Lexus commercial because they are targeting the rich but they lost the hacker that knew how to do that to a hooker named diamond that took his virginity. You should all thank diamond. Not all heroes wear capes.

Lexus, Intel, and Carnival commercials seem to be common, as well as local commercials.
I'm reading that some commercials are stored on the receiver's hard drive. The local commercials might be stored so they don't have to broadcast so many different streams. The big name commercials might be stored as part of a targeted advertising scheme. Anyway, apparently there is a bug when the receiver tries to finish playing the recorded commercial and then switch back to the broadcast. Some say DTV is working on a fix, others say DTV says they haven't heard of the problem.
I would probably call them every time it happens.

Mine is doing it tonight, now 3 times at the end of a Volvo commercial. If you have a DVR you can just press fast forward and it'll catch up so you don't have to miss anything if needed.

My dvr wouldn't respond to any command(fwd, rwd, play)...I have to change the channel and change it back

Mines doing it on the Fox Sports 1 logo.

I had the same problem but it was a advertisement for the movie "Straight out of Compton".

Mine started doing this on Friday. Carnival cruise and a FS1 commercial. Got worse Saturday. Talked to DTV and they said they were aware of the problem but had no timetable for a fix. Maybe just a coincidence, but I disconnected my receiver from the Internet and it hasn't happened since.

The current fix is either changing the channel or press the pause button, then press play, then fast forward till it's gone. The buffer is still there, so you don't lose any programming. First time it happened to me, I had left the room and the stupid carnival commercial had been there for 20 minutes.

Mine freezes on those Carl Jr. commercials at some points - - then rewinds to the beginning and does it again sometimes. It never does this when the wife's in the room - strangest thing...
