re: Chris Cornell dead at 52 - Cailloue Pitre
Damn, kind of foreboding, but part of his last song onstage had a little of "In My Time of Dying" (Zeppelin cover). He's been doing that from time to time this tour. ...

re: did the University of Louisiana at Lafayette give up on branding itself as "UL"? - Cailloue Pitre
God bless anyone who has tickets to see any upcoming future events in the Cajundome. Apparently, they didn't spend enough money on seats (or they just wanted to pack people in for the almighty dollar-probably both). The new seats they put in are small. The crowd for the graduation probably had to sp...

re: Country is officially dead. - Cailloue Pitre
I'm surprised "The Mavericks" don't get more love here. They've put out pretty damn good new stuff over the last few years or so. Though it may not fall solely under the "traditional" banner, it's a ton better than most of the fecal matter broadcast on "country" stations today....

re: this allergy season can suck my ass - Cailloue Pitre
This season sucks ass. I believe it's because we hardly had a winter and the vegetation is in mega full bloom status because hardly any of it went away - little to no freezes occurred here in South Louisiana. All four of us here at home have gone to the doctor for allergy related sinus infections, ...

If they are trying to make the sport more enticing for the casual Joe who might stumble across it while channel surfing, they will fail miserably.
