re: Anyone go to the recent Last Waltz concert? - Cailloue Pitre
I only went to the Saturday night show, but IMO, it was great. Crowd was into it the whole evening, stood and sang along... It seemed they rehearsed well as they performed each song in tight and polished fashion. The guy who sang "Mannish Boy" was Bob Margolin.I read somewhere that he was a gu...

re: Last Waltz tribute @ Saenger; 4/30 - Cailloue Pitre
I'm hoping there might be a few more "superstar" guests tonight. When I bought my tickets, tonight's show was the only one announced. Maybe since Jazzfest just got cancelled for the rest of the day, it may increase the chance for some unexpected artists to show up. ...

Made it to Phoenix X this afternoon - liver punishment has commenced. Some here were wondering about the fenced in area behind the Phoenix X for the tents, etc... Took this from our balcony-this may help give an idea of the fence setup, area, etc... ...

What, no love for some Ray Wylie Hubbard, Billy Joe Shaver or some James McMurtry? I know some of these are getting up in age, but Ray Wylie just put out some respectable stuff...Hayes Carll like mentioned earlier and The Maverick's last two albums have been killer... ...

re: UFC FN 84 - Anderson Silva vs. Michael Bisping - (2/27) - Cailloue Pitre
FWIW, I think it was a good decision. Silva used to come out and do all those showboat antics during a fight when he was the champ and dominating. Well, guess what, he got exposed with the drug tests and he isn't the champ anymore. If he was the champ tonight going into the fight, I could probab...
