To make things more complicated CCNP tests have changed and the materials for the new exam are hard to come by.
I have found only one set of videos from CBTNuggets that address these new exam. Everyone else is still working on getting their information updated.
I am still thinking CCNP but the CCNA Security is looking like low hanging fruit.

Relocating is a lot easier said than done.. I don't want to relocate until I have a job lined up. I've only got a year of job experience in networking..granted it's with an ISP so I have touched all kinds of shite.
Basically, if I want to wait for a job to be lined up I need more experience. So I'm stuck here for a while. But I do want to get away.

quote:Big CBTNuggets fan here. Jeremy Cioara and Keith Barker are great IMO. I've seen the emails from CBTN and Cisco about the changes to the exams, but haven't explored.

I actually started the new ROUTE series with Jeremy last night. I will be doing the corresponding labs with Keith as well.
Time to start digging in and get this thing done.
As they say at Home Depot.... Let's Do This!!

Jeremy's enthusiasm and (at times) absent-mindedness keeps the videos interesting, but his voice irritates me at times. I can only watch a few videos back to back.
