Well it's back up this morning and PSN and battle.net is down because of ddos attack I hear. The interenet is breaking

Easy fix, they should have auto directed phone calls to that while internet was down instead of being off the hook

I switched back to the charter dns. I was thinking the public dns might have security issues.

That would be too classy. When I heard the busy signalling last night, I confess that I grinned. I'm generally pleased with the service itself, but their CS peeps are usually arrogant/indignant/condescending. The dark side of me was happy to see them squirming when they couldn't blame my devices for it - for a change...

Yes! Glad to hear someone else is feeling my pain with this company! I have an on going link on this board.

I understand that things break. I also understand DDOS attacks. What I cant understans or accept is the way Charter deals with issues.

They have NO escalation if u can prove to them the problem is NOT your hardware. Of which I can do every single time they have an outage. They simply keep there customers in the dark.

Outages and slow internet speeds are FAR too common.

I had major dns issues last night but been fine today. Charter needs to announce when they have problems

Have not found anything to prove/disapprove DDOS. But major DNS outage for sure.
