I want to make sure I am getting what I pay for. With xfinity supposed to be getting 45 mbps . All the other internet sites are saying I am getting way below that. Of course I log into xfinity's speed test and I am getting 45 Mbps? I want to know you guys thoughts on a accurate site that is not bias. Thanks

Also check out Mlab for various connection tools.

Charter may have just doubled their download speed, but their upload speed remains "sucky".

For the average person that upload speed is just above "sucky".

This maybe dumb question and hopefully not a thread hijacking but I just ran the speednet test and my results were:
15.24 Mbps Download spped and
7.11 Mbps Upload speed.

That's bad, isn't it?

Depends on what speed you are paying for.
