DirecTV. I can get you a $100 off referral. Let me know if you're interested.

Just listened to a buddy talk about how shitty U-verses internet is and how often he has to reboot his router because of connectivity issues.

No thanks

I would go DirecTV for TV. And depending on where you are, your UVERSE internet may be really shitty.

The 70 year old copper that AT&T has in the ground just isn't meant for TV.

Parents had AT&T Uverse for TV and Internet and hated it. Switched to Charter and are much happier. I have DirecTv and Charter internet and am very pleased as well.

U-Verse Cable is great. There is an HD fee but DVR/On Demand is included so it balances out. U-Verse Internet leaves something to be desired though. I don't ever have router issues, they just don't offer great speeds.

I have U-Verse. The internet is really fast and the TV is great too. They have wireless secondary TV boxes so you can set up a tv in any room.

Disclaimer, I'm in Texas.

if you dont mind me throwing in my two cents, ill give you my honest opinion since i work in that business. first off- i own a lot of AT&T stock, and now DIRECTV and AT&T are the same company so im happy with whatever decision you make. lol

from my meetings with AT&T peeps, they have told me that AT&T is dedicating all their bandwidth to internet with the gigapower rollout and slowly moving all TV over to DIRECTV since Uverse TV is IP based. thats why when you go to a wireless store, they are buying out contracts to switch uverse tv customers over to directv. AT&T makes a lot more money off a DTV customer than a Uverse TV customer.

the directv bundle deal is the best deal in the biz right now. they just released a new Genie that will be 4k ready when the programming comes out. they will be the first to launch 4k and they have the sunday ticket exclusive for the next 7 years.

plus if you are a wireless customer with AT&T, you get $10 off your DTV bill for as long as you keep both.

both have great equipment, wireless boxes, etc. i will tell you that AT&T is putting all of there current and future resources into the DTV product, so IMO that would make the decision easy for me

also, i love my uverse internet. i have gigapower and have never had an issue.

I've actually heard rumors that as the Gigabit rollout gets further along, that AT&T is considering sending DirecTV programming and features over Fiber.

I like to source TV and Internet separate so that if one goes down I still have the other. Also helps on load.

We just canceled Direct tv after two years. What started out as the $49.99 package ballooned to $110/month without notice. We canceled on principle.

We had Uverse TV & Internet for a while...swapped to DirecTv because more signals for recording. We kept uverse internet , its been solid for the past few years. I had many issues before with Cox internet. Directv will still flake out in the weather....

What do you mean without notice? All providers have introductory rates that last a year or two and then go up. This isn't unique to directv. And if you didn't know that it didn't mean if wasn't clearly stated from the get go.
