ATT bill is absolutely out of control and really need to make a change. I admit I am skeptical about these kind of networks but am willing to give them a shot.

I live in Metairie. How is the coverage here and in La in general? Any problems?

Any info is appreciated.

TIA

I'll hang up and listen

Pretty sure if you keep your phone, you will still be getting your coverage from the AT&T towers in your area.

Shouldn't even notice a difference.

I've been really pleased with it. I had ATT and paid over $100/month. Now I pay right at $50 for 5gb of data/month. All of the service goes through ATTs towers still so coverage is the same. I live in St.Tammany but I'm in Metairie a good bit.

I've gone over my cap twice (in 14 months). When that happens I just renew the service which basically resets the data usage and auto-renew date going forward.

I've used Straight Talk with an AT&T sim and I didn't notice a difference between ST and post paid AT&T.

Customer support sucks, but the service was indistinguishable from AT&T for me. Using Cricket now just because it's cheaper and I can get by with 2.5GB.

My wife and I both have Straight Talk through the BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) plan. Mine is AT&T, hers is Verizon. It has been pretty seamless, and a helluva lot cheaper.

Also look into Total Wireless also at WM. Uses Verizon towers apparently and I thought it was a much better deal.

Cricket wireless is decent and uses att towers

I'm rolling with them ATM because it's only 100 for 5 phones and they have free 5 months for switching from t mobile

Have you checked into t mobile?
