I haven't had any issues at all on Nougat on my N6. Even fixed issues I was having prior to getting onto Nougat. I hate the name Nougat, though, so there's that..
what build are you running? still waiting on final release..still not there on google.

Do people actually care about the name? I thought this was a joke. They could call it Nut Butter for all i care.

Whatever Google sent me when I signed up for the Nougat beta.

I attemped to install the OTA on my Nexus 6P (unrooted/locked bootloader). It downloaded, then started installing, then after a while it said "install failed, try again". Two days later, my phone froze, then rebooted, but is stuck on the white google logo. Hard-brick. It's in a bootloop and can't access recovery. Replacement device is en route.

Pretty much at this point. You are going to have to wait on Samsung to release their version of Nougat. May be a while.
This is pretty much a main reason people buy a Nexus for updates on release from Google without waiting for the 3rd party manufacturer to release.

Not really. It was just a guess bet.

apps on the bottom row that dont change when you swipe between home pages. currently the app drawer is one of those. and it's useless there. you will still be able to access your app drawer, it just wont take a valuable static position on your screen that can go to one of your most used apps.
Yeah, I guess I can move it to just above that. I don't mind them making it modular instead of forcing it to be static. However, it's default central static position now is my preferred spot for it.
I really was surprised to learn recently that ios didn't even have an app drawer. I always wondered why iphone screens were so cluttered and with so many folders.

there will be no icon. you cant move it anywhere. its gone. instead you will access the app drawer differently.
also, anyone else still waiting on the nougat update?

Battery seems to be about the same. Responsiveness is great.
I use Nova launcher so I don't see many of the Nougat changes, but the notifications are much better.

Ive been using the swipe up app drawer gesture for years. Glad to see it become a thing for android, although sad its not new for me to get excited about.

Anyone with a 5X have trouble with wifi/bluetooth post-Nougat install? I've been afraid to do it for just that reason.

use BT for like 100 devices and my 6.0.1 nexus 6 lost all my BT connections the other day...
in short i'm flashing 7 as we speak on my N6 so i'll report back if WiFi and BT are more stable or not.

Just to clarify - that's the Motorola Nexus 6 and not the 6P?
What's the reason for this crap? I've been an Android homer since day 1, but this shite sucks. The BT on my 5X since I got it hasn't worked properly - e.g. I can only detect new devices if I boot in safe mode.

I received the OTA update on my 6P yesterday and I am enjoying the little changes and the performance increases. I am not seeing much difference with the battery usage yet.
One thing I discovered today is the better interaction between the phone and my 2015 GMC Sierra Intellilink. I can now see the photos of my contacts on my main screen and the mini-screen in the instrument console. It will also let me reply to texts with the canned messages saved on my phone from the touch screen.

I really like the notification changes, especially with Messenger/Hangouts. You can hold a whole conversation in the notification, and it will all remain there until you swipe it away.
