Any of y'all a fan of this? I usually use Spotify. But for some reason today it's acting up at my work.

I use amazon prime for my gym workouts. That with free Pandora usually covers me.

Amazon Prime music has a lot of music but my biggest knock on it is that it doesn't have the newest music out there. If you like classic rock, or any old rap or oldies in general, it'll have you covered. But if you need the latest EDM or some crap, Amazon Music isn't the greatest.

I like to compare it's selection to the old 12 CDs for a penney club. There's plenty there, but most of it isn't the latest and greatest. For the most part it's strength is you can download songs to up to 4 devices for free, so if you don't have a big data plan it's great, but I still use Free Spotify when I'm on wifi.

They did a catalog update recently and added a bunch of new music in the last month. Lots of 90s rock is on there now which was a pretty big hole before, they also added a lot of country, pretty much everything they played at the CMT awards a few weeks ago is on Prime. They also have Adele's new single Hello, I guess in hopes of getting you to buy her new album which she isn't streaming. And now you can play her last album as long as several of Taylor Swift's past albums.

I see. When I first opened it the new Adele song was on there. But I tired to check for some 90's rock and couldn't find some songs.

You can upload up to 250 songs that you've ripped (or perhaps "found") for free. I ended up buying a few Greatest Hits and compilation albums to cover some of the holes they had for me. I figure in another year or 2 data plans will increase in size enough that I'll use Free Spotify full time, but for now buying a few albums is cheaper than increasing my data plan and/or paying $10 a month so I can download from the other services.

I use it for country music, 90's country, and 90's hip hop... You can download for offline play as well..

I have Amazon Prime Music and Spotify and I gladly pay the $10 a month for Spotify. It's worth it! Prime music at one point didn't even have Guns N Roses.

I don't, but I will when I get my Amazon Echo after Christmas.

Does APM make songs available off-line like Spotify?

Yes, you can download anything that's available in Prime to up to 4 devices for offline play. That's it's primary benefit it provides, but if you're already paying for Spotify I suspect you'll be disappointed in Prime Music.

That, indeed, is the case.

I use it. It's pretty good about having what I want. when it doesn't it's available for purchase. As part of the prime package it's a cool add on that comes in hand sometimes. As a stand alone music offering it's pretty lame compared to spotify.

It's ok, the selection isn't bad, but they randomly don't have some older song which is annoying. It's good enough I stopped paying 10 dollars a month for Google Music, but bad enough I still have to youtube some songs.
