Field a lineup of players — that you watched play, not club legends that retired before you became a fan — from your favorite club. If you have multiple favorite clubs, you can make multiple. Any legal formation. Go nuts with it.

I'll start with a Manchester United one. Remember, this is favorite players, not necessarily best.

GK: David De Gea
He's been one of the best goalkeepers on the planet for a while now, and he kinda singlehandedly kept United somewhat relevant in the post-SAF year. I love this man and will be incredibly sad when he finally moves to Real Madrid.

LB: Patrice Evra
I held out hope that United would bring him back at some point. One of the best to play the position.

CB: Nemanja Vidic
LINK

CB: Chris Smalling
Or is it Mike?

RB: Antonio Valencia
He's been my favorite Manchester United player for several seasons now. Dude is a machine down the right, and he whips in some perfect crosses. Kinda wish No. 7 would've stuck for you, Tony V.

CAM: Shinji Kagawa
They never gave you a fair shake, friend. #FreeKagawa

CM: Park Ji-Sung
THREE LUNGS FOREVERRRRRRR

CM: Paul Scholes
Gotta have somebody to break some clavicles. One of the all-time greats.

LW: Cristiano Ronaldo
The GOAT. Don't try to argue with me.

CF: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
My first favorite player. I wanted to be him so badly on the recreation soccer fields. His ability to score multiple goals right off the bench was just unfair.

RW: David Beckham
Becks probably isn't a natural fit in a 4-3-3 on the wing, but we'll make it work. I always had a soft spot for whatever team he was on after he left United — even the Galaxy.

ETA: Water and packing for work trips.

Hate to admit it, but I like this guy.

DeGea is a want for sure, not so sure I´ll be excited about what is eventually paid for him, however.

Tottenham

4-2-3-1

GK: Brad Friedel
Pure American bias on this one. Otherwise, it be Hugo.

LB: Danny Rose
The guy literally just plays soccer and that's it. Workhorse.

CB: Vedran Corluka
Don't even know why. Was on the team when I first started watching them.

CB: Michael Dawson
Was a shame when his legs gave out on him. Still enjoy watching him at Hull.

RB: Eric Dier
Forever in my heart for his valiant performance at The Battle of The Bridge

LW: Gareth Bale
Do I really need to explain this one?

CM: Luka Modric
Generational talent in the midfield. True joy to watch.

CM: Scott Parker (C)
Only player that can rock a tucked in shirt. Fact.

RW: Niko Krancjar
Part of that fun Spurs team from around 2010.

CAM: Rafael van der Vaart
Gets in solely for "shhh-ing" Arsenal fans.

CF: Peter Crouch
He's the sole reason I began watching Spurs in the first place. How can you not like this goofy goalscorer

Liverpool:

4-4-1-1

GK: Pepe Reina
He was excellent for a couple of seasons

RB: Jamie Carragher
A little out of position, but he played here early in his career. Legend..

RCB: Sami Hyypia
An absolute steal for £2.6mm.. a rock at the back.

LCB: Daniel Agger
One of my all time favorites

LB: John Arne Riise
An absolute cannon for a left leg... Ging!

LM: Phillipe Coutinho
The little magician

CM: Xabi Alonso
Mr. Smooth.. pulling the strings from deep..

CM: Javier Mascherano
The destroyer!!

RM: Steven Gerrard
Captain Fantastic... The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be!

SS: Luis Suarez
May not be the greatest Liverpool player, but the best player I ever saw play for Liverpool..

CF: Fernando Torres
El Nino! The Torres Bounce... what a song, what a player!

edit: It was hard to leave out Michael Owen, but I only really started watching a lot of matches during the Rafa era...

Chelsea | 4-2-3-1

GK: Petr Cech

LB: Ashley Cole
CB: John Terry
CB: David Luiz
RB: Dave

CM: Frank Lampard
CM: N'Golo Kante

LM: Eden Hazard
CAM: Joe Cole
RM: Juan Mata

ST: Didier Drogba

Honorable Mention:

Gianfranco Zola: I thought about putting Zola because he lit it up the first time I ever watched Chelsea play, but he was on the way out and I didn't see him play but a few.

Ricardo Carvalho: I was going to put him, but I just love Luiz.

Diego Costa: Once again, he had no chance to get in over Drogba, but man, do I love Diego Costa.

Willian: Guy just gives it all every single time he plays, and I love it.

Michael Essien: He would've been in there easily if it wasn't for my unhealthy obsession with N'Golo.

Bayern

GK: Neuer
The Wall & sweeper keeper (I never got to watch Oli Kahn, so really the only choice)

LB: David Alaba
Maybe my favorite import in the lineup (though there aren't many)...tremendous free kicker and gets up & down the wing in no time

CB: Jerome Boateng
Despite getting posterized in a big game or two, he's been extremely solid after growing pains in 2012-13

CB: Holger Badstuber
No coincidence he's one letter away from having "StuBear" in his last name...awful, awful luck with injuries but an extremely good teammate, evidenced by stuff like this LINK

RB: Philipp Lahm
Bayern legend...versatile, humble, let's his play do the talking...my favorite player

DM: Javi Martinez
Changed the way that 2012-13 team played...was the perfect compliment to........

DM: Bastian Schweinsteiger
Through successes and failures, he was the face of the club for a long time. Not much more needs to be said.

LW: Franck Ribery
Mainstay with the club for a decade...flops too much, gets angry too much but had a number of really good years in Munich

CAM: Thomas Müller
Goofy bastard, but always seems to be in the right place at the right time (at least before this season). His megaphone skills didn't hurt his resume in getting named to this squad LINK

RW: Arjen Robben
Like Ribs, the Flying Dutchman's done more than his fair share of flopping but people still can't stop him from going left. Scored the deciding goal in the 2013 CL Final.

ST: Mario Gomez
I never got tired of that stupid bow he would do after goals...and more importantly: Gomez Button

Cech
Azpi Luiz** Terry Cole
Essien Kante (back 4 would be irrelevant as much as these two would dominate)
Robben* Lamps Hazard
Drogba

Good luck.

*Can't stand him now though

**Replace him with Carvalho if we are talking best.

First player off the bench Claude M.

He would probably still be the best CDM at Swansea if he decided one day to come off the coach's bench to play again

GK: Peter Schmeichel
"The Great Dane" - An absolute beast

LB: Patrice Evra
Was so good for us for a number of years - a captain who embraced and embodied the club's history

CB: Nemanja Vidic
"He comes from Serbia, he'll fricking murder ya" - enough said

CB: Rio Ferdinand
Strong in defense, silky smooth on the ball

RB: Gary Neville
"Gary Neville is a red" - never the most athletically inclined but a captain and stalwart at RB for a lot of successful seasons

RM: Ronaldo
Was just too great not to love, frosted tips and all. Remember his debut like it was yesterday.

CM: Paul Scholes
"Paul Scholes...he scores goals" - my favorite player on any team in any sport - simply the best - All Hail The Ginger Prince

CM: Michael Carrick
"It's Carrick, you know, it's hard to believe it's not Scholes" - despite the initial bellyaching over his transfer, he will go down as one of the greats in United's midfield - glad to see him get his testimonial this summer

LM: Ryan Giggs
"Giggs will tear you apart...again" - just too many memorable moments watching him over the years

F: Wayne Rooney
Had a hard time with this one for a few reasons, but have to include him as one of my favorites.

F: Eric Cantona
Eric the King - his goal in the '96 FA Cup Final solidified my fandom - the cornerstone to Fergie's early success

Swansea (a very recent XI)
4-1-3-2

GK: Fabianski - not many options here and he has simply been the best one of late
LB: Ben Davies
CB: Ashley Williams - never should have sold him
CB: Alfie Mawson - already one of my favorites. Hope he's on the team for years
RB: Angel Rangel - great servant over the years but looks like his days might be done
CDM: Leon Britton (C) - the man is still making the side tick these days. LEGEND
LW: Scott Sinclair - left too soon
CAM: Gylfi - the greatest player to ever wear the shirt
RW: Pablo Hernandez - aka PablGOAT to S
Fwd: Michu - shame his ankle failed him
Fwd: Wilfried Bony -
Come on, Wilfried Bony
Score some goals for Swansea
We'll go wild, wild, wild
Wild, wild, wild
