1-0. Boring game and frustrating nonexistent offense. But we move on to be knocked out by a superior Germany or France team.

I'm still curious to see if anyone can score more than one goal on the USWNT.

I think we win against China 2-0 in a fairly boring game.

USA 4
CHN 0

This is Ellis' excuse: she goes with 4-3-3 and sits Abby.

---Morgan - Press - Leroux---
--O'Reilly - Lloyd - Brian/Engen
Kling/O'Hara - Saur - Johnston - Kreiger

USA looks great - even without Rapino. They gain much needed confidence for showdown with Germany.

Goals: Morgan, Lloyd, Morgan, Leroux

Heather O'Reilly looks great filling in for Pino. Kelley O'hara get PT at left back - looks great too. Engen comes in at mid late when game is secure. All field players see field during tournament.

I just want Morgan to make a game winning PK so she can take her shirt off.

This is one of the best womens game I've ever seen.....either of these teams will get the US at least from what I've seen so far.

There is real sophisticated offense and midfield play in this game.

ETA watching an Henry play for France just seems right.....even if it is a girl heh

If you want me to send you a topless picture of myself, it'd be about the same thing.

No doubt France is better but still I think Germany is even way better than anything we've seen from the US at this point....we'll see how it goes tonight though.

I mean shite France and Germany look like good soccer teams....not just good women's team.

Admittedly this is the first I've seen of the Germans in this tournament but France is absolutely destroying them in every phase of the game. I haven't seen hardly a single good moment from them. France just attacks, looks dangerous, wins the ball back immediately, repeat....

For all that domination, they are still tied. They really need to finish some of these chances. So many good looks, but missing the final touch. German keep made a couple good saves though.

France does look very formidable thigh. We'll see if they keep it up.

The running at defenders in this game has been unparalleled by the other games I've watched in this tourney......it's been fun to watch.

I'm 100% sure that Germany's keeper is a man.
