Time to take out the Germans!!

France gets defeated and the U.S. has to be the ones to take out the Germans. Some things never change.

So I've decided you don't know very much. France was very much in control.

And later in the thread you say France took it to them. I'm confused

Miss the earlier game? They got dominated

Are you obtuse?

What I said was France created more opportunities and deserved better than they got...
But in no way was Germany dominated....hell they won. They created good chances through counters and when they did attack they effectively ran at defenders.

ETA just looked at stats....Germans won possession and shots on goal....certainly not dominated.

Yea 51% is really winning possession. France created many more opportunities and only lost because the ref was awful. Saying anything else is just dishonest. Not to mention, those possession stats are including the extra time that never should have been. During the regular 90, France was the better team, and it was obvious.

Already done......France was the better team in that game but in no way dominated like you originally said.

Germany played far better in that game than the US has played so far in this tournament that is undeniable.

Germany got dominated. Should have been 4-0 really.

Of course they did....despite actually winning, winning possession, and having more shots on goal they were dominated.

France was the more dangerous team that created more chances but bottom line they got very few on frame. They were also vulnerable on counter throughout. They were better but certainly not dominate.

Yeah women are awful finishers. It's pretty comical at times. Allows teams that get dominated, like Germany, to win games they had no business being in.

If you don't think they got dominated you probably didn't watch regulation and just saw extra time.

I watched from start to finish and it was by far the best women's game I've ever seen (granted that aint a whole lot)....never seen a game with that type of offensive skill (minus finishing) from both teams.

Bottom line unless the US has something we haven't seen yet they are going to have some trouble.
