These kits already suck. May as well throw some rainbows on them.

Why do they push the gay agenda so much?

pretty sure they've done something like this before

Last year, the captain's armband was rainbow for a match, it was only for a friendly pre Copa, just like these numbers will only be worn for the Venezuela friendly.
We're not going into Azteca with these.

IIRC that was right after the Orlando night club shooting

Every time I watch MLS there's a rainbow flag. I always just thought that gays just really like soccer but then I thought that it could also be some straight SJW attention whore.

You people need to find some real shite to worry about.
"I wish they weren't waving that flag!"

I don't think anyone is worried about it. I asked a simple question.
It's not just MLS, you see rainbow flags at stadiums across Europe too.
I just don't think our NT should push any type of agenda.

I think our national team should represent EVERYONE and showing support for a discriminated against group is well played.

America does represent everyone.

Is that a troll?

Not having this argument here, shouldn't have brought it up. Carry on.

It's stupid and here's why. Just be gay wtf are we raising money and awareness for? We know some people are gay. I have no problem with the way they live or their sexual preference. No one is being persecuted based on their sexual orientation. Can't we just all be soccer fans and wave the teams flag?
It's kind of like the Michael Sam thing. Dude be gay no one noticed until you said something. You're a great football player so why bring it up ,just be yourself. Like I said I don't have a problem with this but what's the point? As far as I'm concerned it makes the kits ugly .

Exactly. Wear different colors for people afflicted with diseases or sexual assault victims to heighten awareness and raise money. What US Soccer is doing here instead is just being political under the guise of community action.
