Son is very good. Amazing how bad y'all really fricked up with the Bale money. Astounding really.

I mean we could sit back and blame Baldini all day long for pressuring Levy to free spend and not be his normal frugal self, but then we wouldn't have ended up with Eriksen and Chadli.

Did we frick up the Bale money? Yes.

Is it as bad as people make it out to be? No.

Also relevant:

"Don't talk about spend, talk about net spend."

(PS your fans are fricking retarded sometimes.)

Well, I have a pretty rock solid boner after watching a 30 minute highlight video of Son. Hopefully nothing funny happens and we get the guy.

It is awful, and it is very bad. I love Ericksen and Chadli is okay. Would either start for CFC, MCFC, AFC or MUFC? The answer is no. They would make the bench and be Cup starters.

I love how ambidextrous he is. He makes screamers from outside the box with both feet, it's crazy. I'm really looking forward to watching this guy play.

This is such a terrible argument.

Congratulations on spending more money than us and having better players on average than us. But the truth is, if you hadn't purchased one of the attacking midfielders you do have and instead purchased Eriksen, he would absolutely be starting.

Also Eriksen is a better freekick taker than everyone on your team. So, there is that as well.

Arsenal would be stupid to pay the amount it would cost to purchase Eriksen to put him on the bench.

To be honest, you have a better overall team. But another truth is, regardless if you wish to believe it or not, we are slowly but surely coming right up on you guys' collective tails. And, we are doing it by spending less than half, on average, of what you spend in a year.

The rivalry between our two clubs will be quite different in five years time. I promise you that.

Eriksen would start for every team in the EPL.

Glass, I respect you and the majority of your posts, but thinking Eriksen wouldn't start for every team in the EPL is just foolish.

Not starting for Chelsea or Manchester City is hardly a slight.

Chelsea doesn't play a system or style of football that would be conducive to Eriksen imo. City on the other hand, play free flowing atractive football that Eriksen could thrive in.

Yeah I like Eriksen but he wouldn't start for every team. That's not a slight. I love watching that dude play. Not sure who he would replace in the Arsenal lineup, or Chelsea's, Man City's.

He could replace Ramsey in the Scums lineup.

Not likely. They don't play the same role, really, and CE isn't going to put in the defensive work that Arsene wants from him on that side, now that he's playing on the wing.

Different players fit in different schemes. I really like Ericksen and have for a very long time. He wouldn't replace Ramsey, they aren't even remotely the same player. Ozil is the player and as much as I like CE, he isn't even close to Ozil.

Ozil has a terrific eye for a pass, no doubt. But in a system that prefers high pressing, pace, and the CAM's ability to put the ball in the back of the net it is Eriksen over Ozil. Eriksen is also much more dangerous with free kicks and corners. I'm nitpicking sure, but just doing it as a counter.

Ozil is in a very good system for him. He has amazing vision and can put a pass anywhere he wants to, but he stutters at the opportunity to shoot the ball and lacks pace.

My point post-rant: you give and you take, different systems work better for different players.

Eriksen is definitely a much better player than Ramsey, but like the scum fans said they aren't really playing the same positions.
