They should no longer get to play in PL for remainder of the season.

Seriously, how the hell is Tottenham a founding member of a so called "Super League" when they haven't won a domestic league title since 1961?

I'm cool with domestic leagues banning clubs who participate in the Super League. But banning individual players from domestic leagues and national teams seems a bit too far.

If players knowingly sign with them, then frick them too.

You guys are confusing silverware with monetary worth in this scenario.

And the players that are currently employed by these clubs? I mean it's not their fault their employers are doing this to them.

Each club getting over 400 million for just accepting the invitation

The rich getting richer and they will suck up all the talent even more now

Also very convenient they are doing these when fans are not at games

The protests would be massive in the grounds

Well you're dealing with Daniel Levy. The guy will almost always make the financially sound decision when given a choice.

Is there not a collective bargaining type agreement? I guess these teams are gonna make so much money it won’t matter.

That doesn't excuse it, you realize. Greed is greed is greed. frick all these clubs. My hope is the response is severe enough that they back down. These owners are ghouls, and hopefully they suffer the consequences of this.

Oh I get it. And I'm against as well. I'm just being realistic about the decision that they'll probably make.

Still not sure how I feel about the players being banned though. I feel like you have to at least give them a grace period in order to find a move away from the club or to run down their contract.

SuperLeague while a club like Ajax gets excluded.

Based on the release it says there will be teams that make it based on a yearly qualifying mechanism
So maybe that’s the way Ajax get in?

I don’t want to see this happen
I hope the responses from Fifa and UEFA make them back down

But I’m really not confident it will.
The super league will exist, their domestic leagues will allow them to play, and FIFA will allow those players to play in the World Cup

I'm fine with that. I would rather the fans own these clubs, not these shithead boomers billionaires. frick them, now and forever. They did nothing for these clubs. They can go frick themselves.

Yup. Here we are. With City as a founding member alongside United and LFC.
