Randy, I never thought I’d say this but......you are 100000% spot on.

Moves like this prove that I don’t have whatever gene it is that you’re needed to be a billionaire. It’s just unfathomable to me to destroy something that is universally loved because I want to have more billions in addition to the billions I already have.

What insane stupidity. If this happens, I'd probably quit watching the sport. An utter disgrace.

I haven’t seen a single fan of any club linked to this be excited or happy about it.

Assuming all the massive clubs eventually made the jump, what is left of the domestic leagues could be wildly entertaining.

The world would be better without the Kronekes, and their whole class of kleptocrats.

36 teams playing a 10 game group stage with 1-8 getting a bye to the last 16 and 9th-22nd having a playoff for the final 8 spots, also adding 2 “wild card” spots for teams with the highest coefficient that don’t qualify directly but still qualified for Europe (example, Liverpool finishes 5th but still makes CL)

I would prefer a third tournament after Europa, and an expansion of Europa. The UEFA coefficient system is brilliant should be more central and have higher stakes.

Why should any fan be excited? Why the frick should we care about the Kroenke's profits? Wenger is the man who built the modern club, a team that focused so much on passing and movement that it eventually became a meme, and all Kroenke can do is think about profits. I have to support FIFA in this, as corrupt as they are. We can't have anything good in this world due to these insane billionaires. How much more money do they need? These transfer prices are already insane, the ticket prices are terrible, and the product on the field is far worse than the product the EPL put on in the late noughties, despite more money and the better technical level of the players.

I'm beginning to see the need for a spending cap to at least make these assholes temper their greed. And I might have to root against these big clubs, hoping they get relegated and that the investments of these billionaires gets ruined. Literally none of them were involved in making these clubs the clubs they are today, except for Man City (who apparently aren't involved) and Chelsea, and the least you can say about those owners is that at least they care about winning. Which is to say they at least spend money, which isn't something you can really say about Stan.

Arsenal is such a far-cry from the club I grew to love too. My uncle introduced me to the club in 1992, but I didn't follow them until 2004ish when we finally got Fox Sports World, and those late Highbury years were incredible. And then we built a fricking stadium that is named the fricking Emirates. What a shitty fricking name. Regardless, those early Emirates era teams could play. They had soul and heart even though the surroundings were plastic as hell, and all that good organic feeling about the club was beginning to disappear. Wenger did such an incredible coaching job during that era, when we had some terrible players, and what ruined that was the desire to "spend money," so Wenger could appease the fans, even though he was getting the blame for what amounted to the greed of the board members. Wenger took blame so that Stan could complete his takeover, and what are we left with? Stan still running after his profits like a fricking rabid fricking moron.

I still want to love the club, but man, there is so little to love. We went from a meme team that had slick passing play to this robotic, soulless team that isn't even entertaining anymore. I hold out hope that we can return to the Wenger era, when at least games were fun, but if this goes through, I'm just going to focus on other things, like starting a family and teaching my kids about the game, at least the game before these bloodsuckers got involved.

The idea that FIFA and UEFA would make the World Cup and Euros meaningless seems like a level of brinkmanship that they won’t follow through on.

I hope they do ban any player or coach who participates in the super league. These billionaires can't have it both ways. Again, I would rather support the small-time crooks like Jack Warner than support upending the structure of European football just so that American owners, and others, can protect their investment.

I watch MLS soccer.

A World Cup with the equivalent of mid-table Premiership talent would still be awesome.

I really don’t want Everton to leave Goodison but the new ground looks like it’s gonna be pretty dope

Even hearing about them wanting to expand the north stand at Elland Road to go from 35k to 50 is depressing but i get that we got to capitalize on the current momentum.

Im so glad cellino didn’t sell to red bull

Premier League, La Liga and Serie A threw down the gauntlet. Sounds like the Super League teams will be banned from domestic leagues.

Some Spanish journalists are saying that the founding members expected this kind of response and are ‘calm’.

Whatever that means.
