His attitude was great and pretty calm
A normal person would have wrecked his shite.
After biting a Serb he is afraid of no one now.

This absolutely needed a thread. Does Suarez think if he keeps doing this that people other than himself will start believing that biting is just part of the game?

i have no problem with the new thread but this came out yesterday, not today.

I'll defend Suarez's handball til the day i die.

To be fair, SCH was probably asleep when it did come out.

I guess it's his defense mechanism, he has the teeth for it... he knows his strengths...

Only morons wouldn't do the same. At that point in the game that was the ONLY right move to make.

When his team is not winning, I don't think Suarez does think. He just acts. I think that's his problem. I remember reading an article after the last biting incident where a psychologist commented that with Suarez it is an emotional thing that he does after frustration builds up with a player over time over the course of a match. And so he bites him before he thinks about what he is doing, and that he would probably do it again within 5 years (which he did).

From last year's Confederation's Cup:
Looks like he already tried to bite him...

o he was thinking about it

I joked about it yesterday...
But to be clear... To me the actual biting, though odd, to me should be treated as violent conduct and get a red (if seen) and a 4 match ban for violent conduct (maybe extended after the 3rd)... I don't see it much more than an elbow or a head butt.. none excusable..
The bigger issue I have is that he knows that it is viewed by some in a bigger way and after all that he just went through last year, that he couldn't control doing it again... I mean, in this day and age, cameras are going to catch it... Just like LFC, he will potentially let his national teammates down if he is banned..
I just hope that he isn't banned from club play, and by all indications most don't think that will happen, though it could... When the season starts, he'll have my support and hope he keeps banging in the goals and producing the magic on the field... he is a joy to watch!

I think that that's pretty apparent. I just want to know why this dude's default action of frustration is biting people. Plenty of players act without thinking and act out of frustration. Pepe wasn't running through the pros and cons of headbutting an opponent while walking towards Mueller.

AS out of Spain are suggesting it will be a 4 match international ban only... not sure of they are credible or how they know this...

Imagine Muller's reaction if Suarez bite him

Are you going to start the next season long thread? Our old one was anchored and there is much to discuss, other than this Suarez incident...
