PSGing:
quote:

20 consecutive Ligue 1 matches without defeat (18 wins 2 draws)

To me this is impressive no matter the league. What are some other similar streaks in top flight leagues?

49 league games undefeated.

That was the only one I could think of. I seen a NBCSN documentary about that squad.

I guess what I want to know from you guys who have followed it longer how impressive is this PSG streak? If it isn't impressive how far will they have to go for you to be impressed?

It's moderately impressive. PSG is everyone's cup final but they also have a much much much better roster than everyone else in France at this point. If they can go the whole year w/o losing a L1 game that would be something to celebrate just as being the first to win the French treble was something to celebrate last season.

fricking Angers, a newly promoted team, is 2nd in Ligue 1. That tells you all you need to know.

Don't care though, Batshuayi is a stud.

Well we both like Belgium strikers hahaha

And I get that it isn't the toughest competition. Still good stuff. You defend Ligue 1 one min then bash them the next

I hope they take CL , but I know you all rooting against that

To be honest this is the toughest draw we could have gotten outside of Barca or Bayern IMO. They will be on point after what happened last season.

Yeah but the first leg isn't this weekend, it's 2 months from now. They are still a very talented team with one of the best managers in the game. They will be up for this.

Agreed... IMO PSG is on another level than most clubs.

And now, in some ways, maybe have the backing of the world with the events in Paris. Might be a stretch but this is the soccer board.

I definitely agree than PSG is the 4th or 5th best team in the world at this time. That doesn't mean they couldn't go out in this round though.
